Logan is a Registered Therapeutic Counsellor (RTC) with the Association of Cooperative Counselling Therapists, membership #3004.

For as long as I can remember, I’ve been drawn to helping others, whether it’s a friend in need or working in a supportive profession. My fascination with the social sciences, especially the psychology behind how our brains form and break habits, has always fascinated me. Through my therapeutic journey, I found empowerment and self-realization. Embracing personal growth led me to pursue a career in counselling therapy. I’ve experienced firsthand the profound benefits of therapy, and I’m dedicated to offering that same support and service to others on their paths to healing and growth. In my approach to therapy, I strive to create a space filled with warmth, acceptance, and empathy. I believe that genuine connection and understanding form the cornerstone of effective therapy. To this end, I integrate a blend of narrative and cognitive therapeutic frameworks. By employing narrative techniques, I help clients explore and reframe their life stories, empowering them to find new meanings and perspectives. Simultaneously, cognitive approaches enable us to identify and challenge unhelpful thought patterns, fostering healthier ways of thinking and coping. This integration allows me to meet clients where they are, providing a compassionate and non-judgmental environment where they can openly share their experiences and emotions. It’s about more than just addressing symptoms; it’s about understanding the person as a whole and working together to build resilience and a sense of agency.

My journey began with a volunteer position at a national crisis line. This role gave me valuable experience supporting those in need and deeply touched me with the many stories and struggles so many people are going through. While this work was incredibly important, I felt a strong desire to provide more holistic and long-term support. This motivated me to further my education and knowledge. Today, I’m proud to be a member of the Association of Cooperative Counselling and have begun developing my niche and therapeutic focus. Working with individuals who are experiencing different challenges, I’ve found my work shines with those struggling with anxiety, depression, self-esteem, neurodiversity, self-harm, and interpersonal challenges.
